Continuing Education and Premium Credits

Continuing Education Credits

The Wisconsin Dental Association is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing dental education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2026. Provider ID 219281.

The Wisconsin Dental Association designates this continuing education activity as meeting the criteria for up to 4 hours of continuing education credits. Doctors should claim only those hours actually spent in the activity.

Premium Credit

Medical Protective insureds who attend the seminar, Preventing Dental Malpractice Claims by Avoiding and Managing Adverse Outcomes, may be eligible to earn a 7.5% risk management premium credit* for the next three policy renewals.

*Approval by The Medical Protective Company, the carrier, does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board. Premium credit eligibility and amount are subject to state insurance filings and policy type. Completion of a risk management course does not imply or guarantee renewal. If there are more than 18 months between the date the seminar is attended and when the current Risk Management premium credit would expire, no adjustment is made to the Risk Management premium credit.
