The Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance Division recently updated its Notice to Employees About Applying for Wisconsin Unemployment Benefits poster. All employers covered by Wisconsin’s unemployment insurance (UI) law are required to prominently display this poster where employees will easily see it (for example, on bulletin boards and near time clocks). If employers do not have a permanent work site regularly accessed by employees, then an individual copy must be provided to each employee. Posters are available in English, Spanish, and Hmong, along with abbreviated instructions in seven other languages.
The division also requests that employers enter their UI account business name and address on the poster for employee reference.
