Professional Insurance Programs’ annual Dental Risk Management seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 17 at the Brookfield Conference Center. The program, entitled “Preventing Dental Malpractice Claims by Avoiding and Managing Adverse Outcomes,” will include an overview of the current dental malpractice environment, including issues specific to the state of Wisconsin. Other issues to be discussed include informed consent, patient and team communication, follow-up system failures, jousting, patient selection and adverse outcome disclosure.

A two-hour course, “2021 OSHA and CDC in Dentistry,” will be offered following the seminar, from 1 to 3 p.m. Participants will earn 2 CE credits for attending. Learn more
